Well here it is guys, your belated finalisation of the season 1 cons, it would have been done much much sooner had it not have been for Christmas, the New Year, moving home and being PC'less for a week and then finally getting one only to come online and find pretty much every thread with all the results cleared out.....never one for namimg names as the more experienced guys know of me, but it turns out that Asma was 100% responsible for this :)
Its been a crazy season, one that has seen its usual supply of frenetic racing, ridiculous pace, on track incidents, heavily laden politics and the usual debate riling glitches all thrown in to keep us entertained....on top of that though we have had rapidly degrading tyres, Kers, DRS, safety cars extreme weather conditions but most importantly in the main great great racing.
19 races deep and heres how it ended.

They did it again, along with winning season 1 of 2010 at a canter they have utterly dominated the season, the team of Fraff who's unfortunate ban is a rareity despite his subsequent claims, Chaz, Cream, Asma, Fets and Ian Bastein romped home in all three division, with a slight moment of concern in Division 2 extinguished in Brazil by Saubers double finish compared to just 1 car across the line for Force India. The second half of the season couldve been more interesting had the Indians started well as there performance throughout the second half was very consistent indeed sharing the poles and wins with Sauber.
A hugely disappointing season for Red Bull and Lotus see them missing out season 2 pending division structuring of course, 8 team leagues mean relegation for both as it stands however but really it was turnout for Lotus in division 3 which they didnt have drivers in and Red Bull who struggled to get guys to the grid.

Saubers domination is made all to clear with the stats tables, the figure on the right is the total performance of entered drivers, if a driver sat on the grid pre-lights he contributed to this stat, for a run down of the races entered finshed as a stat see below. The figure on the left is races finished/entered.
Sauber 79/100
Force India 86/103
McLaren 69/88
Ferrari 71/84
Mercedes 75/87
Williams 56/77
Lotus 39/47
Red Bull 42/51

Basically it was Sauber all the way, but noticable was the final lap finish of division two which made for a great race video (which has also been enthusiastically removed from its thread???!!) a battle which raged to the flag that actually looked like a tyre shod Birchy was going to win until the bitter end. The subsequent result and closest finish of any division saw Frank pip Cream to honours.
So we already have Renault returning to the fray next season, with two odd weeks to go I shall now start the vote to decide who of the remaining teams join them in the hat for next season.
Thank you again all you racers....my fellow admins and mods for the thankless work you put in, big thanks to Niagi for all his work on this new site, a huge thank you to Twisty and Asma whos day to day thread handling is superb, some of the stat sections are terrifric! Id like to say a big thank you to Aiden whos help building my table was vital, our old chum Uni for his fantastic one night shoot out ideas and a final massive thank you to those of you who spend time putting together those fantastic videos of league races.
Congratulations to the Sauber team!!! And everyone lucky enough to win a race.
